Job Overview:
As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing user interfaces and experiences across our digital platforms. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our products are not only functional but also easy to use and aesthetically pleasing. Your goal will be to enhance user satisfaction by improving the usability, accessibility, and visual appeal of our digital products.
Key Responsibilities:
- User Research: Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights into user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
- UI/UX Design: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications that are both functional and visually appealing.
- Information Architecture: Develop and optimize information architecture, ensuring that content is organized and presented in a way that is intuitive and easy to navigate.
- Interaction Design: Design and refine user interactions, including buttons, navigation menus, and other interactive elements, to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Usability Testing: Plan, conduct, and analyze usability tests to identify areas for improvement and validate design decisions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that design concepts are aligned with business goals and technical constraints.
- Responsive Design: Ensure that designs are responsive and optimized for various devices, including desktops, tablets, and mobile phones.
- Design Systems: Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all digital products.
- Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices to continually improve the quality of our user interfaces and experiences.
- Accessibility: Ensure that designs adhere to accessibility standards, providing an inclusive experience for all users, including those with disabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design or a related role.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other relevant software.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design work, including wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Experience with responsive and mobile-first design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to non-design stakeholders.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices is a plus
